Kuumba Tribute

The East Point College Park (EP/CP) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta warmly invites the Metro Presidents and their Arts and Letters Chairs/Co-Chairs to attend our 34th annual Kuumba Tribute honoring actress and community activist, Mrs. Margo Williams Moorer.
Kuumba, the sixth of seven principles acknowledged during the Kwanzaa celebration, means “Creativity.” Our annual Kuumba Tribute was established in 1990 by our Arts and Letters Committee to honor African American women who excel in the Arts. Each of our awardees promote awareness of different art forms, art advocacy and cultural enrichment.
We will celebrate and present Mrs. Margo Williams Moorer with our most prestigious Award for her artistry and achievements at the Morrow Center located in Southlake Mall in Morrow, Georgia on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 4 PM to 6 PM. Admission is free.
