World AIDS Day 2021: Resilience & Impact Event Committee

December 1, 2021

Get ready to pin on your RED RIBBON and prepare yourself for a powerful, myth busting, and transformative evening.
This year the world marked 40 years since the first five cases of what later became known as AIDS were officially reported.
World AIDS Day is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS epidemic, which was caused by the spread of HIV infection. World AIDS Day allows us to speak out against HIV stigma; and mourn those who have died because of the disease.
We are honored to host a stellar panel of experts that will offer important statistics about the impact of HIV on the black community — specifically, black women — and provide helpful resources to #knowyourstatus.
We look forward to seeing you today at 6:30 pm on Zoom or Facebook Live.
