This event will offer:

• Free document shredding: Two shred trucks will be on-site to securely destroy confidential documents, preventing identity theft and protecting personal information.
• Electronics recycling: recycling and keeping hazardous materials out of landfills.
• Free Battery Collection: We will have designated collection points for various types of batteries, including alkaline.
• Light Bulb Recycling: Recycling fluorescent light bulbs is important because they contain mercury.

Important Things To Know:

Battery Drop-Off Tips:

• Separate by type if possible.
• Bag or box batteries.
• Tape terminals (especially lithium).
• Seal leaking batteries separately.

Light Bulb Drop-Off Tips:

• Keep bulbs intact.
• Use original packaging if possible.
• Box bulbs carefully.
• Separate CFLs (compact fluorescent lamps).
• Inform us about broken bulbs.
